Weapon: Dual daggers [MAG +3] Expertise: Ein's skill set lie in a balance of support and defense; She is air adept, and is the most suited to utilizing breathing and wind techniques to redirect and parry physical attacks. Able to defend from most long range attacks, she is however more effective in close range.
*Vessel: Standard aerolite [SPD +20], 4'8" in height and 6'2" from front to tail. Light and sleek in structure, capable of carrying one or two passengers at max. The top visor is removable. As a bonus, if it's really necessary someone can hold onto the bottom bar for a lift.
Personality: Ein generally appears elegant and poised in the way she carries herself. Despite her fairly quiet demeanor she tends to have an inner monologue running and gives herself frequent mental pep talks. As of joining the Quasers she has tried to expand her horizons a little more, trying to show more compassion to the people around her.
She's quite a sensitive and introspective soul, and it is not difficult to get her to empathise with another's situation. Painfully aware that many of her friends come from less fortunate backgrounds, she will do her best to be tactful and not burdensome to them in any way. However sometimes her emotions can get the better of her and will bring her mood down.
She has a fairly clear stare and polite manner of speech, warming to something friendly. At first glance she looks well-bred, or has led a sheltered sort of life - which would be fairly accurate. Despite being from the upper caste she tries to keep an open mind for others and their backgrounds, but almost overcompensates, tiptoeing around issues due to her lack of practical knowledge on the world.
History: Born into upper-middle class Eivindr, she was raised in a loving household with her mother, father and one younger brother. Even as a child, Ein seldom wanted for anything and felt that with a kind family and roof over her head, she was very blessed. Her childhood was fairly uneventful and she spent much of it tutored at home, with her brother.
At 12, her tutoring days were over and her parents sent her to a public school. When she entered however, she felt awkward and unable to adjust socially. Instead of reaching out, she chose to protect herself with an outer shell which led people to think her cooler (or just different) than she really was. People were reluctant to approach her because she withdrew into herself and always looked like she wanted to be alone, rather than wanting to be involved with others. With her running inner monologue, she would never speak out or express herself correctly, which would lead to people misunderstanding. Her inability to make friends left her to rely on her brother constantly and they were always in eachother's company. Because of this, she feels estranged even in large crowds and is much more at home in a library. Ein was an avid reader as a child; she was always interested in the adventures her father had told her of Quasers and their machines, riding the clouds and surfing the skies.
Her father was a researcher for a speir production factory, which kept him updated with the Quasers' technological advances. Since she was a little girl, they had always piqued her interest and so wondered if there was anything she could do to help the cause. Both her and her brother had an interest in the Quasers and their way of life, and aspired to perhaps join them someday.
Despite her mother's disapproval, Ein had insisted on entering their ranks after finishing her studies. Her brother, 4 years her junior, was less interested in fighting and found himself drawn to the underlying mechanics and research instead of fighting. He joined their father in research and development while still giving his sister his full support, and together they persuaded their mother. Ein then focused on entering the Quasers, wanting to tell her own adventures and experience the world from even higher places.
After entering the Quasers, she found that she relished the apparent equality in the faction and found herself beginning to open up to others and even make friends. No one seemed to think that she was too anti-social, or unapproachable. The connections she has made in the quasers, as well as the hardships they have faced as a team, have helped to open her up a little more.
Extra: Her birthday is January 11th.
Her hobby is traditional adept dance, which pops up constantly in her fighting style.
